Talk: Membrane adaptor protein TOCA-1 interacts with Ena to drive filopodial protrusion

Tom gave a talk for the centre for mechanochemical cell biology’s Motors in Quarantine webinar series about how we used frog retinal ganglion cells as a model to study how filopodia, dynamic cytoskeletal protrusions from the cell surface, are regulated during axon outgrowth. Using high speed imaging with quantitative dynamics analysis, we showed how membrane adaptor protein TOCA-1 works together with actin filament elongator Ena at filopodia.
